Marcelli School: Mission and Vision

Marcelli School of Antipolo, being a pioneering progressive school in Antipolo City, adopts an integrated approach to learning that recognizes Multiple Intelligences.

According to Howard Gardner, human beings have nine different kinds of intelligence that reflect different ways of interacting with the world. Each individual has a unique combination of the intelligences. Although we each have all nine intelligences, no two individuals have them in the same exact manner.

Academic disciplines through progressive education introduce concepts and processes within meaningful contexts to enable the child to realize connections between ideas. Class projects and performances are designed to draw on multiple intelligences while encouraging both self-reliance and collaboration.
We believe that a child…
  • Is unique and possesses innate talents and skills
  • Is always curious and eager to learn
  • Takes an active interest in the world around him which enables him to choose activities that will fit his/her interests
A child learns…
  • Through play
  • Through hands-on experiences
  • At his own pace and has his own style of learning
  • Skills and concepts that follow a simple to complex pattern
Our teachers…
  • Facilitate the child learning by developing the child’s skills and talents
  • Motivate the child by providing a stimulating atmosphere with appropriate learning activities for optimum development
  • Are creative and resourceful in dealing with children
Our school…
  • Is a child’s second home
  • Renders an environment conducive to learning
  • Fosters an atmosphere of love and care that provides a sense of freedom, safety, and security
  • Provides an eco-friendly environment and advocates love of mother earth
GOALS…
  • To bring up a God-fearing child with his own set of guided principles that will make him a responsible and productive citizen of the country
  • To cultivate the child self concept in relation to his environment
  • To facilitate the child’s full potential through his achievements
Integrated core curriculum…
